"Alive"

When the tiny seed fell into the earth,
And was engulfed in darkness
It thought that was it..life was over even before it could begin
It thought so until the warmth seeped in,
The moisture provided comfort
And it started to soften its hard covering!

It was amidst the blind spot,
It learned the most important lesson..
This was the beginning and it had to keep its might..
Cause it yearned to see light..
" I must..I must.." the little seed proclaimed..
So it learned..
To rise..to use the darkness as its pillar,
And push harder..

It took a while, but through the earth it peeked,
The passing air gave it a touch as if to reassure..
The first ray of sun made it feel something it had never really felt before..
Alive!
Alive! Alive! Alive!

The tiny seed was now a sapling full of life..

"Humans" - An Alien's Perspective!

With noses high up in the air,
You declare..
You are the most important,
You are the ultimate brain power,
A miracle of nature!

You say, you know everything..
Then how come you have no answer for the million of things you see undone!
You say you seek peace,
But hilariously how the path you suggest lets innocent people bleed!

A marvel you think is what you are..
But the truth will remain you are a coincidence,
The littlest of little ripple in the infinite cosmic sea!

The things you value the most ...money, status and fame
For getting those you play nasty games..
Funny little creatures you are..crazy weirdos..if u will..
Drawing imaginary lines across a cooled fireball and calling them "nations" and differentiating your own people on the basis of their identity!

The whole humanity lives in hypocrisy!
Multi-facedness is the what is imbibed within!
You call yourselves "great",
'Cause you know no one would call you that,
If you don't self-proclaim!

Acceptance of yourselves is what you need!
Understand the insignificance of yourselves,
Be humble and grateful for what you have got!

Time is not a constraint..
It is a chance you take to make your lives count,
The things you seek is not at the end of yet another war,
Warm up your hearts..
'Cause love, compassion and kindness is the answer!

Hues of life!

Each of your thoughts are like beams of light..
Falling on the prism of life..
All together its plain..its white..
When they become memories..they seem so distinctly different..
Like after passing through the prism..they divide themselves..and amazingly how you can now..remember..recall each of them differently..
The Red maybe the times of laughter, love and celebrations..
The Orange are the times that u hold close to ur heart..neither red nor yellow..they are something in between..neither too joyous nor saddening..colour of the setting sun..they are the memories which seem distant yet special..
Yellow...the bleak moments of dismay..the faded chapters of books...the dried up leaves floating midair in an autumn afternoon..the sense of forlorn..
Then comes Green...the colour of life..fresh and soothing to the eyes and soul..they are made of times of miracles and wonderful dreams..satisfaction and contentment..
Hues of Blue..are the moments of confusion..apprehension..and of desparation to discover yourself..
Indigo comprises of the brief moments of epiphanies...true realizations..which have the deepest effect on ur life..
The bright violet chrome is for the little kid in you..the kid who dances in little joys and laughs without hesitation..violet is precious!
Now..the present..may seem dull..may seem regular..may seem white..but when you look back....they will be all the colours of the rainbow..a collection of all the little seemingly unimportant moments which shall be only and solely yours and would define who you were and who you are! :)
