I have moved..all my life I have moved always from one city to another..from one house to another.. I always thought this was something special and I have probably grown fond of moving so much that I would feel stuck if I had to live in one city for the rest of my life. But somehow at this point in my life I realise how special it is to have a city to come back to..have a handful of people always there for you in a place where you share decade old memories..I crave that suddenly as I realise I don't have that and probably I never will..I imagine myself living a quiet life in a little town with a handful of people I love.. a town that would finally be my own..
And then again this mere "humanly" desire makes me wonder....it's so strange that everyone on this planet has been born somewhere..our ancestors moved across the continents for centuries..yet somehow how important it is for a person in their own lifetime to be known from being from a "place", from a "country", from a "culture" . Aren't we all unique amalgamations of thousands of cultures and places and people and languages and genes that have travelled through eons to be today who we really are. Why do we always have this undying necessity to "group" "people" and put them in respective boxes??
